  • 3 packages frozen Mrs. T’s Cheddar Pierogies
  • 1 pound sliced kielbasa
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (8-ounce) block cream cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, combine 3 cups of chicken broth, frozen pierogies, sliced kielbasa, and shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well.
  2. Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for about 6 hours until heated through.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, whisk cream cheese with the remaining chicken broth until smooth.
  4. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the crockpot and stir thoroughly. Top with additional shredded cheddar cheese and cook on low for another 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, optionally garnished with sliced green onions.
