  • 1/2 lb wide dried rice noodles
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced steak
  • 810 deveined shrimp
  • 1.5 cups assorted chopped vegetables
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons oil (more as needed)
  • Green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

  1. Marinate the steak with Shaoxing wine, cornstarch, and soy sauce for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Whisk together chicken broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, ground ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl for the sauce.
  3. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Sear the marinated steak for about 1 minute per side and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, sauté the chopped vegetables for 4–5 minutes until tender.
  5. Add shrimp to the vegetables and cook until they turn pink (about 2–3 minutes).
  6. Return cooked steak to the pan along with prepared noodles and sauce; toss everything together until well combined.
  7. Stir in green onions before serving hot.
